Dr. Miller is Professor of Oral Medicine, Microbiology, Immunology & Molecular Genetics at the University of Kentucky, Colleges of Dentistry Medicine. He has authored more than 200 scientific articles, textbook chapters, and monographs regarding oral infections, dental pharmacology, dental management and oral manifestations of systemic disease. He served as Editor of the Oral Medicine Section of OOOO, and currently is an Associate Editor of Oral Diseases. He has provided entertaining lectures around the world and is well known from three nationally and internationally acclaimed textbooks he has coauthored: the Color Atlas of Common Oral Diseases; Oral Diagnosis, Oral Medicine and Treatment Planning; and Dental Management of the Medically Compromised Patient. Dr. Miller serves as a consultant to the NIH and as an expert witness in legal matters, and has received lifetime achievement awards in Oral Medicine and Oral Diagnosis.
