Robert Henry, DMD, MPHRobert G. Henry, DMD, MPH is a Clinical Associate Professor at the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry, a Professor in the School of Dental Hygiene, Kentucky Community and Technical College Systerm, and Former Chief of Dentistry at the Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky. He is a Past-President of the American Society of Geriatric Dentistry, Past-President Special Care Dentistry Association (SCDA) and served as a founding board member for Mission Lexington. He was the inaugural recipient of the Saul Kamen award given by the SCDA. He has written and spoken on the management of patients with numerous medical conditions including bleeding disorders and those requiring sedation to be managed. He holds fellowships in the American Association of Hospital Dentistry, the American Society of Geriatric Dentistry and the American Dental Society of Anesthesia and is a Diplomate of the Special Care Dentistry Association since 2004.
